It’s hard to believe that my time at the Eco-Farm is already over and I will soon go back home! But before that I will go for another Safari. After the last Safari we decided to explore the eastern Part of Uganda this time which will lead us to very remote areas and up to the border to the Sudan and Kenya. Unfortunately this means a lot of driving of bad and dusty roads but we will manage. We certainly booked Nelson again, as he proved to be an exceptional tour guide and good guy. I wonder what adventures we will face on our tour!
Here’s the planned destinations:
- day 1: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Rhino trekking
- day 2: Budongo Forest – Chimps trekking
- day 3: Albert Nile – game drive & boat trip
- day 4: Gulu, playing at an orphanage
- day 5&6: Kidepo Valley – Karamoja community, game drive, hot springs
- day 7: Lira – game drive, playing with the kids
- day 8: Sipi Falls – Sipi walk
- day 9: Jinja – Source of the Nile, boat trip
- day 10: Kampala – city tour (kings palace, kings katikiro, Kasubi tomb, parliament of Uganda)
- day 11: Entebbe – botanical garden, Uganda Wildlife Education Centre
